I have to admit that 2 of those motors that quit were mine and they didn't burn up they threw a wire on both. We were geared low and were keeping the motors wound tight and driving away from the field. 'that was our first dnf in over a year. Even high dollar teams loose motors every now and again. Have fun at your race I will be spending the day with my dad and son.

I guess all the other 100 FX motors were geared two low. weather or not they threw a wire or just smoke you still are out of the race. Happy fathers day. Hope you guys enjoy. I personally don't have a issue with the FX motor; but we still burn or throw a wire at every series race since we have been using them. Even you have to agree on that. Oh and by the way if you blow 2 motors in one race; Don't you think you should ask somebody who knows what there are doing. Ask Russell Dobbs he'll be glad to help you out. ;D ;D

Your right we were out of the race but up until then all you saw was tail lights and it took several laps for you to pass us even after we came out. I don't need any help from people that we out run pretty consistently but thanks for the offer. I will also remind you again that we have not had a DNF in over a year how many has your team had? I'm just messing around I know the motors are not perfect but neither are any ones Else's that's what makes racing fun the unpredictability.

I'm sorry that you guys that gave me so much advice didn't make it out to watch us win our heat in dirt outlaw and finish second to Terry in the overall results and win the truck heat and win the truck overall. I was thinking after the race that Weeble was right that since we didn't win both races I probably should seek the knowledge of someone who knows the FX motors so I talked to Terry and Stan today and they are more than happy to assist in making us better. Thanks for the advice I think it will help us in the future. I would have enjoyed seeing if those of you who like to talk big on the computer can back up what you type. I know I have talked my fair share as well but we showed up and backed it up. I hope you have fun at your race on fathers day as for me I will be with my son and dad. To all of you who came to the race at CMS we had a great time racing with you and look forward to racing with you again soon. see ya at the races.

We don"t have to be there,we know you will feel us in on how you do.You always do. And I can say the same thing. You only try to back up what you say in a few places. And no body gave you advise cause teams of you caliber do not need advise, just alot help. It is nice to know you have SO much confidence after talking to Terry and riding on his coat tales.

Ok ---now that is out of the way....
We had a pretty good race. 12 to 14 drivers which was pretty decent turn out for fathers day. A GIANT THANKS TO DANNY RICHARDS for putting on this race and making a good race.
I am not going to say there were not any issues, but this is the first time Danny or myself did any thing like this.I made mistakes but the races were close and fun. Thanks to ALL the drivers for their help and PATIENCE. Truck race was very close and fun.We had two races and it ended with Danny R. winning over myself(Russell D.) by two laps and Jeff Causey behind me by two.
The dirt outlaw was on the little track and it was the first race on the track. Tunkel did a great job getting the track ready. The race ended with Lanier Gazaway(The GAZ) winning over drivers like Danny R.,Roy,Mitch myself and weeble. He drove a d**n good race. Danny said he could not catch him. With Gaz winning this race it will only make it easier for him to win more. I think he has made it to the top of that ladder.
Hardbody race was a great race. Top Qt was Danny R. with a 3.38. We ran a short race to transfer top two to the BIG RACE. That was Jeff Chalmers and one of Danny's buddies from Texas. The final results were Danny, Russell, Jeff Causey.
They gave out the trophies to all and Danny took care of all drivers to make sure no one left with empty handed. so thanks to all that showed and until next time ........

Ken there's no battle as much as you would like there to be. I find it funny that even after telling you guys in my first post that I was just messing around you guys have got all bent out of shape. I support many tracks just not the club you guys belong to I know you know why and besides by the time I got my cars loaded and drove there the track would probably be moved to another location or closed so why should I waste my time and gas when there are at least 6 other tracks that I could drive to that I can depend on being there and that likes me to come there. Danny congrats on your race I know you did a good job and was straight up with everyone that attended I would have attended if the location and day was different. As for riding on Terry's coat tails I believe it was Weeble that suggested that " I seek help from someone that knows what they were doing" so I figured who better that the person that is partly responsible for the manufacturing of them. I will tell you once again that I am just kidding around so please don't take offense at what I say even though I know that there are some of you that probably will.
