I think John F. had a blast to. It was fun racing with him again and he was shocked we did not get ill with each other when we would crash. We just laughed and kept racing. Sometimes I feel sorry for Copper...na. I think Eddie M. won that contest.LOL. The funniest thing I heard Sat. was when Copper asked his buddy what H.B.D.T. meant. Lets just say he knows NOW.Chrome was flying and chassis were bent but who cares when you have that much fun. ;D ;D Next race we will make at V.L.R. is the skeeter and from what we are hearing there is going to be a Tenn. invasion. So guys get those skeeters ready and lets race. I have to remember to keep some goody's/standback/BC powders in my box to take care of those laughing headaches.

:)I had a great time running at Eddie Mac's again this past Saturday. I love racing hardbodys and Eddie makes it fun. My eye surgery has kept me from racing as much as I would like, but if the weather holds up and I can drive, I will be seeing you more often, lol. Thanks to all for your patience racing with a blind man. Some say I race better with one eye than two???.

We had a blast Sat. night at VLR. We started the night with a trophy race in the skeeter class and it was a very close race. It came down between myself and Ronnie.Good job Ronnie. He beat me by less than 10 or so car lengths. If only I had not wrecked myself. I was catching him and took my eye off mine to look at his and I wrecked. Thats what I love about racing. I was just as happy running second when we race that close. The run down was: Ronnie ....... 326 laps..... 2.804 best lap Russell ....... 326 ........... 2.800 Bill ............ 321 ........... 2.841 Joey........... 320 ........... 2.856 Mitch J. ..... 318 ........... 2.896 Gaz .......... 312 ........... 2.844
It is alot of fun racing these cars and no one has an advantage and the speeds are pretty well the same. The funniest part of the race was when Ronnie came off and the marshal put his car on the wrong lane-well it took Ronnie 4 or 5 laps to notice. He yelled track cause his car was not reacting to his controller. He said it was driving itself. Well Gaz had it on his lane. And I would have to say Gaz did a good job keeping both car on.LOL.
Now for the dirt outlaws fcr with 501's. That was just as close and fun. We ran I think one or two heats with as little as one or so track calls. You would think we were professionals or some thing. I would like to say congrats. to Gaz, he is moving up the ladder.LOL. The run down is: Joey ...... 408 laps..... 2.236 best time Bill......... 407............ 2.244 Russell ... 406 ........... 2.197 Mitch J. .. 403 .......... 2.293 GAZ ...... 389 ............ 2.241 Ronnie.... 378 ........... 2.402
It was a lot of fun and Joey did a great job recovering after starting last with a bent chassis after a crash. It is so fun to race people hard and not get mad. Ronnie is one of the hardest drivers to pass, and the only way to pass is to take chances, well lets just say we all found the wall hard. And we laughed about it. Gaz was moving up and crashed and the car was never the same. Good job and thanks to Eddie for the trophies-Gaz like his to.LOL
Now next week we will be running h&r/protract with 501 and lexan mods body(don,t know what they are called) and possibly the skeeters. The drivers are voting to race the skeeters every week with the other races.

Sat. night we had a blast again. There were 10 drivers there but only 8 raced the hardbody class and I said GAZ is climing the ladder well he pulled out a third place finish after a chassie bending wreck that he had know control over.Good job. Then we ran the skeeters and had a great time with those. This weekend we will run muclecar. So I will problaly be at CMS Friday to race Skeeters and his mucle car and had to VLR for his, so for all you out there looking for a place to race come and join us for the fun.

Saturday at Victory Lane was a blast. There were 17 drivers and it was good hard racing. The dirt outlaws are getting faster with lap times by Kevin,Roy ,gaz in the 2.1's and Danny and myself in the 2.0,HA. Still the racing was good close fun and competitive. It was great to race the regulars again. The overall win went to Kevin Tidwall,(thats was his first trophy he got to take home), he drove a great race. Myself was able to drive back to 2nd, Roy to 3rd and Ronny to 4th. I think Kevin turned in the 230+ laps, and I was in the 220+ with Roy one or two laps behind. Everyone shook hands and thanked Eddie Mac for the trophies. Trophies were through tenth and after that drivers got painted lexan bodies. So a big thanks to Eddie Mac.
Lets keep supporting these tracks and now that ya'll all know where and what V.L.R. races lets keep this going. Man that was fun,and thanks to all that showed. AND A BIG THANKS TO EDDIE MAC.
