In2010 SEFCRRA will run 3 classes 4 1/2 FCR #435 lexan dirt outlaw 4 FCR #432 Lexan NASTRUCK 4 1/2 FCR #435 NASCAR hard body
4 1/2 Chassis Rules
Rules for both dirt outlaw and the hard body chassis will be the same. Adjusta bushings must be used and installed in the up position Axle ball bearings will not be permitted Chassis may not be cut or drilled in any way. Any attempts to lighten chaise will not be allowed. Lead weight will be allowed. CHASSIS MUST MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF 1/16 CLEARANCE AT THE REAR AND 30 THOUSANDS AT THE FRONT. Motor mount and axle struts may be braced. Any guide flag may be used. Guide flag spacers may be used.
4 Chassis Rules

Motors
The Kelly KE2002 motor will be used in all three classes. Brushes and brush springs may be changed. Break in will be allowed. No other modifications will be allowed. Only hand out motors will be allowed. they will be handed out 30 minutes prior to tech in. Shunt wires will not be allowed. Bus bars will not be allowed. Stock brush hoods must be used. Any 48 pitch pinion and crown gears may be used. Spring insulators are not allowed. Lead wires may be changed and guide clips are permitted.
Tires and Axles
Rear tires must be a minimum of 850 for the 4 1/2 chassis and 800 FOR THE 4 INCH CHASSIS. with a maximum 600 hub. Any brand may be used and front tires must be a minimum 13/16 diameter. Front tires may be coated with clear only fingernail polish. 1/8 solid axles any brand may be used. Tires must be equally spaced on each side of the chassis. Spacing may not exceed 3025" to outside over all. Tech tool must clear with out being forced. Narrowing of tires or any other alteration will not be allowed. Tires may be trued for size or rounding issues.
Controllers
Any controller may be used.
Bodies
Hard Body NASCAR
1/25 or 1/24 bodies may be used. Must be 1990 or newer model kit bodies. Must use kit plastic front and rear windows. Windows may be glued or taped in. If taped in they must be taped in the inside with clear tape. Lexan or sheet plastic may not be used. Cars must have numbers on the roof and on both doors and sponsors on the hood and both quarter panels and trunk lid. Bodies must use Velcro to hold them to the chassis. In addition tape may be used. Bodies may be trimmed down, but must meet a minimum height of 1 7/8 inches while on chassis, AT CENTER OF ROOF. A standard tech tool will be used to measure body height. Bodies OR WINDOWS will not thinned, sanded or scored in any way. Wheel wells can be trimmed for tire clearance only. Bodies will weigh 35 grams. If bodies do not weigh 35 grams at tech in weight will be added to the roof to make it weigh 35 grams. If you are building a COT car it must have both COT front and rear spoiler with old spoiler removed. No 1/2 and 1/2 cars.
Lexan Dirt Outlaw
Any 1/24 scale 4 1/2 lexan body that is readily available. Front and rear wheel wells must be cut out. Bodies must be painted NO SEE THROUGH BODIES. Cars must have numbers on the roof and both doors. Any other decals are optional. Bodies must be cut on the cut line. Rear of bodies must maintain 1/2 inch from the top of the rear spoiler and FRONT BUMPER MUST MAINTAIN 1/8 INCH FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. Only one layer of tape may be used inside of the body for reinforcement.
4 inch NASTRUCK
Any 4 inch NASTRUCK lexan body that is readily available. Front and rear wheel wells must be cut out.Bodies must be painted, NO SEE THROUGH BODIES. Must have numbers on roof and on both doors and a primary sponsor on the hood. Bodies must be cut on the cut line. Bodies must have front and rear bumpers. Only one layer of tape may be used on the inside of the body for reinforcement.
Fees
There will be a one time Assoc. Fee of $10.00 for all members. This gets you a discount of $5.00 on each race you run. It gets you nothing else. Race Fees for members will be $20.00 per race and includes one motor. If you want to race only one race the whole season it will cost you $25.00 and will include one motor You are allowed to buy one extra motor per day at a cost of $10.00 Each track will pay a one time fee of $75.00 AND SEFCRRA WILL PROVIDE ALL RACE PLAQUES
Race Day
There will be one race a month starting in April and ending in October at the NATS. Heats will be divided equally. All entered racers will be shuffled and divided into heats also assuring the two race directors are in different heats( number of heats will be determined by the number of racers. For two heats at least 12 racers, three heats 21 racers. 4 heats 28 drivers and so on. The higher number of racers will be in the first heat so if someone else come in and wants to race.) When you are called for your heat you will be issued your motor ( and extra motors ) No one leaves tech station until everyone has their motors. You will have 30 minutes to get ready for your heat, the track will be on for 30 minutes for testing. Only the drivers in that heat will be on the track. Racers must have their cars at tech when the 30 minutes is over or a 5 lap penalty will be applied. The track will be open on Friday for racers to practice and a $10.00 practice fee will be charged. No fee will be charge on Saturday because there will be no practice on Saturday except for the 30 minutes prior to your heat. Only the track that is being ran on will be on. When cars are turned in for tech they are impounded until your heat starts. When you heat is over your car is impounded until all heats are over. If you car fails tech before the race you will have 5 minutes to correct the problem. If your car fails tech more than once a lap penalty will be applied. After tech is complete all cars will be taken to the start finish line by a SEFCRRA official and racers will be allowed to service and apply tape to their cars at the line. At the end of your heat a SEFCRRA official will collect all cars and they will be impounded. Racers do not remove your car. Doing so will lead to disqualification and forfeiture of points. No race will be stopped for car repairs. Track call will be limited. The track will be stopped if more cars are off than the corner Marshall can handle, a car leaves the track, a car is under a bridge, a rider, Drivers do not call Track. In hard body if a major part of the body is broken off including front or rear windshields the car will be allowed to finish the heat, but it must be repaired before the next heat or a teched spare body can be used. Heats will be 2 minutes with 2 minute lane change intermissions. Points will be awarded based on the position each driver finishes. If a registered racer is unable to compete in a race, and pays his race fee in advance of the race he will be awarded points not to be greater than the last place driver that competes in the race. Racers can only do this twice during the season. SEFCRRA has to go by the results shown on the computer when the race ends. No laps can be added or subtracted after the race is over, except for penalty laps for infractions. All racers will use a lane change card every time or a lap penalty can be applied for each infraction. The to 10 during the regular season will automatically advance to the NATS championship race. Three regulars season drivers not in the top 10 will advance in the qualifier race at the NATS and 3 drivers from outside the regular season can advance to the NATS race. How ever if the top 6 drivers in the qualifying race are all regular season drivers they will all advance.
Track Qualifications
ALL TRACKS WILL MEET A FEW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO GET A RACE. 1. ALL TRACKS WILL HAVE A STORE FRONT. 2.ALL TRACKS WILL HAVE AT LEAST 1 COMMERCIAL SLOT CAR TRACK. 3. ALL TRACKS MUST HAVE A REGULAR BUSINESS LIC. ISSUED BY THE LOCAL GOVT WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED. 4. ALL TRACKS WILL HAVE A STATE SALES TAX NUMBER ISSUED BY THE STATE THEY ARE LOCATED IN. 5. ALL TRACKS WILL BE UP AND OPERATIONAL 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THEIR RACE DATE OR THE RACE WILL BE MOVED.
Track Participation
For a track to keep its race they should have a minimum participation as follows. At least 1 driver at 4 different races. If a racer races at 2 different tracks at least once a month then he may put both tracks down as his home track.
Rule Changes
Any rule change that has to be made at the events will be made by the president. He may consult any board members if he wants but he does not have to. If a permanent change need to be made it will be voted on by the board at their nest meeting. The board may change rules with a majority vote of the board.
