Just found out Bart is in the hospital in Chattanooga with a heart attack. He is going to require a quad. plus 1 by pass. There is no news when it will happen. The remainder of the board will make a decision about this weekend as soon as we can and let you know on this board. Bart wants us to race anyway.

ok its time to see what kind of people you all are. Bart as you all know, is a great friend of mine, and a lot of other people. he needs us all help him out right now. Why dont all of you come sat and race with us. Maybe we can all put our petty differances aside for one race, im sure he can use the money.

Your right Gaz. So the WEEBLE is going to blow the dust off my box and come out of retirement for one day and race in Sat series race in Cleveland. I really think Bart has been good for our sport; and I feel that it is only right to come out and support him and his family at there time of need. I don't race in any series this year but I will come out and help out Bart and his family. So look out guys the WEEBLE will be on the track this weekend in Cleveland.

Gaz, like the weebs, I would scrape up a car and race to support Bart. He has been great for slot car racing in Georgia as well as Tenn. I have an appointment with a real estate saleman in Dahlonaga this Saturday. Kim and I are buying a home up there for retirement (next June). So please tell Katrina and the rest of the family that I am sorry about not being able to come and that they will remain in my prayers.

Bart, my deepest feelings go out to you. Now that you are joining the "zipper" club (you will know what this means) I know exactly what you are about to go through having had open heart surgery and five by-passes myself five years ago. Trust me, it will take more than two weeks to recover. Physically, it will probably be six to eight weeks before you start to feel "normal". It will be about six months before you can start doing some of the things you normally do. Trust me when I say you will face moments of depression. Don't do what I did and try to keep it to your self. Talk with your wife or someone, I'm here if you want to talk with someone who's "been there, done that". God's speed to you and your wife because she will need support also.
